Students are encouraged to take subjects that will enable them to achieve the English Baccalaureate (English, Maths, Science, Geography or History, a Modern Foreign Language plus two other subjects) but at Fullbrook we recognise that all students have different careers aspirations and learning needs so are supported to make option decisions that best suit their own goals.

Students choose their own course of study which is dependant on them meeting the minimum GCSE requirements for Level 3 study (5 A*-C at GCSE) and individual subject GCSE minimum requirements.

Students can re-take English and Mathematics GCSE whilst continuing on with their further studies at Key Stage 5. GCSE English and Mathematics grade C or above must be attained to move on to Higher Education, Apprenticeships and Employment.
