A typical day at Fullbrook
At Fullbrook we have a 10 day timetable which means your lesson schedule takes place over a two week period. Year 7 students are given their timetables and can stick them into their Contact Diares. You can also view your timetable on the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

Students can arrive onto the school site from 8 am to meet friends or buy some breakfast in the restaurant.

Tutor time takes place between 8.40 and 9.00am.

Tutors work really hard to make sure students feel welcome and safe in school every day. The Head of Learning may well pop in to highlight an inter-house competition or celebrate student success.  Tutors and students work together to make sure everyone is prepared and ready to make the most of the day.

Period 1 takes place between 9.00 and 10.00 am.

When Year 7 students first join Fullbrook they are mentored by specially trained Year 11 students.  Mentors will help you find your way around and make sure you are able to get to lessons.

Break is between 10.00am and 10.20 am.

During break you have a choice of where to go. You can meet your friends in the playground or buy some food and sit in the restaurant area. If the weather is nice students often like to buy something from the Snack Shack and sit at the outdoor table area. You could visit the LRC to play chess, borrow a book or print homework in the IT suite.

At Fullbrook Year 11 and Year 7 students have their break after Period 1. Year 8 to 11 students have their break after Period 2.  This means there is always plenty of space to sit, play and spend some time with your friends.

Period 2 takes place between 10.20 and 11.20 am.

Period 3 takes place between 11.20 and 12.20 am.

Lunch Break takes place between 12.20 and 1.00 pm.

As at Break Time you can go to the restaurant, the Snack Shack or the LRC.  If you have a packed lunch you are welcome to eat it in the restaurant area or in the hall.  There are also a number of clubs or activities you may want to take part in.

Period 4 takes place between 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm.

Period 5 takes place between 2.00 pm and 3.00 pm.

Afternoon tutor time takes place between 3.00 and 3.10 pm.  Your Tutor will ask how your day went and remind you of any important notices you need to be aware of.

Reflection Time takes place between 3.10 and 3.15.

Fullbrook staff and students have a restorative approach towards issues and incidents. Your tutor might, once in a while,  ask you to stay behind for a few minutes after Tutor time to have a conversation about any issues or concerns that may have cropped up throughout the day.

At this point a lot of students enjoy a wide range of clubs and activities that take place after school.  Every time you take part in an extra-curricular activity you earn precious house points. There is also a Homework Club in the LRC where you have access to PCs and a colour laser printer.

There is a Yellow Bus that leaves at 3.30pm and a Late Bus that leaves at 5.00pm.  There is also a secure lock up for push bikes.
