Students at Fullbrook achieve a fantastic set of GCSE results

Students at Fullbrook in New Haw have once again achieved a fantastic set of GCSE results. As a specialist Maths, Science and Technology academy, we are extremely proud of the grades that students achieved in those subjects. In Maths, 85% of students achieved grade 4 or higher. In sciences, 72% of students achieved grade 4 or higher in at least two science subjects with Biology students achieving particularly highly with 87% achieving a grade 5 or more. Fullbrook strives to ensure that everyone can be better than they ever thought they could be.

Fullbrook students have done well across the board with 84% of students achieving a grade 4 or higher in English and 91% in Drama.

Mrs Katie Moore, Principal at Fullbrook School, said “I am proud of all our students’ successes. Everyone has worked so hard to ensure that Fullbrook students make great progress so that they achieve well and have the skills and qualifications they need to be able to take the next steps in their careers with confidence. We look forward to welcoming students to Fullbrook in September to begin their A level studies. Our warmest congratulations go to all our students and their families on their excellent achievements showing they really can be ‘better than they ever thought they could be’!”

Schools Minister Lord Agnew said “Congratulations to all the pupils and staff at Fullbrook, and the wider team at GEP Academies, on reaching the culmination of much hard work. GCSE results day marks the moment so many young people will make choices that can shape the rest of their lives, so whatever path they choose, every pupil at Fullbrook School, George Abbot School and Kings College should do so full of confidence.”

Congratulations to all our students, their parents and Fullbrook staff for their hard work over the last year, culminating such a wonderful accomplishment.

The Fullbrook community inspires an active passion for learning in everyone. We challenge, respect and support each other to be better than we ever thought we could be.
